"Hokey Pokie" a Four Corners report on ABC TV

The  great debate about poker machines and their social impact was the subject of review by ABC's investigative television show Four Corners on 10 September 2007. 

Reporter Jonathan Holmes interviewed a number of high profile figures in the liquor and gaming industry including the Minister for Gaming & Racing, Mr Graham West, some CEO's of registered clubs and pubs, and the President of the Australian Hotels Association (NSW), Mr John Thorpe.  The program also included the views of some academics, representatives of some well known problem gambling counselling services and, yes, some poker machine players.
